Zone
Our school operates an enrolment policy within a defined zone for pupils.

• If you live within the Clarkville Te Kura ki Waimātao zone you are guaranteed a place at our school. 
• If you live outside the Clarkville Te Kura ki Waimātao zone your child will only be able to enrol through an out-of-zone ballot, which is held termly, if there are spaces available.

Pre-enrolment

We encourage parents to pre-enrol their preschool children by the age of four. 

Please complete an expression of interest online by clicking here. ​ This is simply an indication of your interest in enrolling your child and means you will receive the necessary enrolment information closer to your child’s 5th birthday.

New Entrant Enrolment

At the age of five, a child may start school. Most children in New Zealand begin school at five years although it is not compulsory to commence until the age of six.

The term before your child begins school we will be in touch to make a time to meet with you and to plan the transition to school visits.

Out of Zone Ballot

Our Out of Zone Ballot dates are:
Those who wish to enrol for Term 2, 2022 – Applications close on 9 March 2022 at 4 pm. Ballot 11 March.

Those who wish to enrol for Term 3, 2022 – Applications close on 25 May 2022 at 4 pm. Ballot 27 May.

Those who wish to enrol for Term 4, 2022 – Applications close on 24 August 2022 at 4 pm. Ballot 26 August.

Those who wish to enrol for Term 1, 2023 – Applications close on 28 September 2022 at 4 pm. Ballot 30 September.
